Reception Team
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.

In addition to our reception team we have several teams working with us:
- Administration Team
- Pharmacist Team

Wentworth Medical Practice is a ‘teaching’ practice. You therefore may be offered an appointment with a qualified doctor gaining experience in general practice or be asked if one may be present whilst you consult your own doctor. If you prefer to see your doctor in private, please let us know.
Registrar Doctors
Registrars are fully qualified doctors who have decided they would like to become GPs. They will undertake a minimum of six months of ‘on-the-job’ training with us here at Woodcote Medical and are supervised by an experienced GP who is also an educator.

Medical Students
Our practice is a community teaching practice for King’s College London School of Medicine and University College London. With the supervision of your doctor or nurse, medical students may, with your consent in advance, join your consultation. This is one-way medical students learn to become good doctors and understand patient views about their care. We appreciate your help with their learning. Please let your doctor or the Practice Manager know if you have any questions about our medical teaching.
Other learners
In addition to teaching medical students and qualified doctors, we also support the development of other professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists. They always work under the supervision of a qualified clinician. If you have any concerns about your experience with a learner, or do not wish to be treated by a learner, please let reception know and we will ensure you see a qualified healthcare professional.
