Dear Patient

Re: Your views on Merger of Derwent Crescent Medical Practice to Wentworth Medical Practice.

We are writing to you as a patient registered with one of the practices above to inform you of the Partnership change which took place last year and the proposed merger of our GP surgery at 20 Derwent Crescent London N20 OQQ with Wentworth Medical Practice at 38 Wentworth Avenue London N3 1YL.

Partnership changes took place last Summer when Dr Jonathan Lubin the long-term GP Partner at Derwent Medical Centre retired from NHS Services. Dr Laura Lefley the other partner left at the end of December 2022. We apologise if you were not notified of this change.

Drs Anuj Patel and Dr Leena Mistry, Partners of Wentworth Medical Centre, also became partners of  Derwent Medical Centre.

This letter is to seek your views on a full Merger between both practices

There will be no immediate changes to where services will be delivered after the partnership change in July 2022 and Merger in December 2022. To improve access for patients the partners have been exploring with NCL Integrated Care Board (ICB) formally NCL CCG whether there is an opportunity to offer all patients services from one premises at the Wentworth Medical Practice. The practice and NCL ICB will inform and write to patients later in the year providing more detail on the premises options and seek your views to ensure any change to where services are provided to meet your needs.

4. Changes to Staffing and opening hours

All staff both clinical and administrative will continue to work at the practice and there will be no change to our practice opening hours. The surgery telephone number will remain the same.
